Wow, it has been like two years since I've written. I'm now in college. Currently, I'm making a mix. I'm avoiding my homework. But I know I'll get it done soon. I'm enjoying college. Missing home though. The song I'm listening to is really good. That's really all for now.

Oscar Night!!
Okay it's my 2nd Christmas, as an actress--THE ACADEMY AWARDS! I'm really pumped not as pumped as last year, of course, because
I don't have one single movie I'm following like last year. Instead, I have many of my favorite people nominated in separate films like the lovely Kate Winslet, Leo DiCaprio, Ryan Gosling, Abigail Breslin, and Mark Walhberg. But here's my list, first, of who I WANT to win and who I think WILL win and I'm only doing the major categories.
WHO I WANT TO WIN:
BEST PICTURE: THE DEPARTED OR LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE
I absolutely loved "The Departed", it was a brilliant film and the return of the real Martin Scorsese. Like many people said, "His best film since Goodfellas". I agree 100%. Now, "Little Miss Sunshine" because I'm always pulling for one indie film and it looked adorable and I love Abby Breslin.
BEST ACTRESS: KATE WINSLET
I've been in love with Ms. Winslet for 4 years now and everything she touches is just brilliant. I've watched her get nominated and loose year after year and her performance in "Little Children" from what I've seen, has put chills down my spine. She's brilliant and I adore her. Academy give her, her due!
BEST ACTOR: LEONARDO DICAPRIO
I've loved Leo as long as I loved Kate, "Titanic" no surprise there, and same with Kate, he continues to amaze me as an actor and as a person. But this year, ah, it was his year. This "new" Leo, is just more amazing then old Leo. When I saw "The Departed", the Leo and I knew and loved was gone, replaced by this mature, handsome, eletrifying actor. When I thought he couldn't outdo himself, he did it--in "Blood Diamond". That was one of the most moving films, save for "Hotel Rwanda", that I've seen in a long time. Sheer brilliance!
BEST DIRECTOR: MARTIN SCORSESE
This man is...there's no real world to describe Mr. Scorsese that would really match up with his talent. He was just born to be a director, he's a true storyteller. Each film he does, he shows us another side of his talent. And, I'm outraged to say, he's never been rewarded for it, it's a joke! So, Academy, you've snubbed all my lovelies that I've listed, do not snub him!
I could do Best Supporting, but I don't really...I mean I love Abby Breslin, but since I did not see her...I don't right commenting solely on her.
Now, who WILL win.
BEST PICTURE: THE DEPARTED OR LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE
Either the Academy will give Martin some credit or I feel they will award the Indie. Since critics just loved and hailed both of them, they both have really strong chances.
BEST ACTRESS: HELEN MIRREN
She's the Reese of last year, she's won everything and I just know they'll give her the Oscar, it kills me.
BEST ACTOR: FOREST WHITAKER
He's the Philip Seymour Hoffman of last year, he's a shoe in and it breaks my heart.
BEST DIRECTOR: MARTIN SCORSESE
He's won the Golden Globe and I believe he won the SAG, many people say that this year is his year---FINALLY! THE ACADEMY WOKE UP!
That's all I have to say about that. I'll probably have a very unhappy post when it's all over

Okay I'm so in love with The Dark Arts, it's a graphic forum (made for Harrypotterfanfiction.com for those who cannot make banners themselves--not me!) with amazing tutorials and ahhh I just love it. But SAYS (another Harry Potter forum spawned off of Harrypotter fan fic, what can I say I'm very popular in the HP world), SAYS is driving me nuts!! I asked for suggestions and I ask for reviews and people just ignore me! I mean what the frick! The policy is that you review some stories then they get back to you, never happened. Jerks!
They get so clicky and they kind of dislike me cause even though I love HP, I love to make fun of it. Like this evil werewolf, Greyback, I called Michael Jackson cause in the 6th book he tells Dumbledore:
"You know how much I like children."
I mean C'MON so Michael!
But anyways "The Prestige" came out on dvd and total Christian Bale/Scarlett Johansson love!
It's just a spectacular movie! I'm also very pumped for the Oscars, not as pumped as last year but c'mon I'm an actress---it's like a 2nd Christmas for me.
And besides being frustrated with my friend Josh, that's about it. We're doing a lip-synch thing for our Actor's class and we're doing Jackson and he just won't settle down and work. It's driving me nuts, I told him I was gonna cry. In other news, my cat talks. Mr. Simba is really angry that Scout gets to chase him and so he just barges into my mom's room and is like " meow, meow, meow, meow--MEOW!!" Let's just say he was very pissed off.
And I leave you all with a random quote from one of my all time favorite Monty Python sketches:
"Three peanuts were walking down the street and one was assaulted...peanut...ho ho ho."

Snow Day and McGosling Icons!
So Valentine's Day is nearly upon us. And me being Ms. Romance...actually doesn't really like that holiday. To be my unsual cynical self
I think it's a Hallmark holiday. But maybe I'm bitter cause I have no one to share it with but my girlfriends. Men seem to have no interest in me as I think I've said before.
My stepdad says it's the braces but the females in my life say it's because I'm a strong, independant girl that's opiniated and can't be taken advantage of. And highschool guys want their first girlfriends to be easyily manipulated. And me being a very manipulative girl, that wouldn't work out.
I know I shouldn't be proud that I'm manipulative, but it's kinda fun at the same time. I mean I don't control everybody, but with projects or
ideas I have, they usually get carried out because I can be "very persuasive". Gosh, that sounds a little dirrty! Okay, back to the heading of this entry. We got a snow day today and I have to say I was PISSED. I stayed up until 12 doing my homework: FOR NOTHING!
But on an AMAZING note, "The Departed" and "Half Nelson" came out today and since my homework is done: It's a Leo/Ryan day!!!!
And in the spirit of Valentine's Day I made an icon set of my favorite celeb couple: Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams: MCGOSLING!!!

ScarredThe girl you all know and hopefully like or love. Is scarred. Daniel Radcliffe who’s Mr. Harry Potter to the WHOLE WORLD has posed practically nude. Now I am not a prude. I am very liberal with the nudity especially for roles, for Gosh sakes my 2nd favorite actress is Kate Winslet, ( Titanic anyone?) But this was just I mean c’mon it’s Harry Potter!!! I do not want to see that!! I am not ready!
He’s not even LEGAL! That’s like Emma Waston posing in Penthouse or something! I mean if it’s like Jake Gyllenhaal or Leo or Gosling yeah totally! They’re not playing a wizard with emotional issues and PMS every year! They’re men! This is just oh too much for me! But on the good side of the argument, Praise Jesus or (Insert name here) that it was not Rupert Grint (Ron).
Seriously, many shudders at the thought. A Little Gosling Love and Self Plug
Okay, who does Jess think is totally gorgeous and yummy this week? Mr. Ryan Gosling.
I’m even listening to Gwen’s “Yummy” in honor of him. He’s just delicious. Not to mention, he’s nominated for an Oscar this year! Two hotties Jess loves in the category this year. Ryan and my future husband Mr. Leonardo DiCaprio.
(Jessica DiCaprio just sounds so good!) I saw him on the SAGS last night, both Mr. Gosling and Mr. DiCaprio. And ooooooooo boy! It was quite the delicious moment. Ryan is now beardless, which is a little sad but still looking very very good with darling Rachel McAdams with him. McGosling is amazing, I hope they get married.
I think people reading these have realized I’m weird and there’s probably no way to respond to this without sounding equally insane. Anyways, so Mr. Gosling had lack of facial hair but Mr. DiCaprio still has his, which is good to know.
Now to my self plug, if anyone likes Harry Potter and tolerates HP fan fiction, please read my stories, eh? Either on fanfiction.net (MissRomance) or harrypotterfanfiction.net (Angel of Darkness). I also have a House M.D. story and a Signs story. Hey whatever tickles your fancy.
Back to hotties, a person I think is just smokin’ is this friend of mine, Nick. Mmmm. He is just nice to look at. He’s a senior so I’m sad, that he’s leaving and he’s practically in love w/ our mutual friend Jenny, so I don’t really want to do anything to hurt her by asking him out. But he is just……!!!!!!!!! Another downside is: he’s a random cad. Nothing really R rated, but yeah…he’s still nice to admire.
He's also a really good actor...I'm just an actress attracted to actors what can I say?

Christian Bale Loves ME!!
So the Illustrious Regan and the Darling Claire and I went to "The Prestige" which is amazing and go see it and see "The Ilusionist" because these movies ROCK!
Anyways, back to the point, Regan loved Hugh Jackman's character and I loved Christian Bale's, and Christian's had a daughter named -drumroll-
JESS! And at one point, he says "I love you, Jess. I love you so much." So of course, I had to answer so I told Mr. Bale, "I love you too, Christian Bale!"
It was quite the moment. Regan now can't think of me without thinking of Christian Bale! If you don't know who the wonderful Mr. Bale is---"SWING HEIL!" (he was Thomas--the blonde one that becomes a Nazi) and he's friggin' Batman!
EMRACE THE SMEXINESS!! HE'S BRINGIN' SMEXI BACK!!
Jess says: AWWWWW!!!!!!
EEEEEEE!!! (-dances-) THIS WELSHMAN ROX MY SOX!!

New Video Finally
It's the last day of summer. Tear, tear. Not really I don't mind going back, gives me something to do.
I've been watching YouTube uploaded "21 Jumpstreet" episodes and damn that show was stupid.
No wonder Johnny didn't really enjoy himsef doing it. His film career is much better. Anyways I
